The SCHA processes applications in the order received and works diligently to process in a timely manner. Once the application team completes the review of your application, regardless of approval status, the SCHA will reach out via the email provided.

SCHA does not accept physical copies of documentation or in-person submissions. All submissions must be through the online application.

iPhones have the capability to scan your documents directly in your files app. If you do not have a scanner, this is one way to get a digital copy. Photos of your physical document (must be legible) are accepted.

    Only one (1) application per household. If you will be owning, living in, and/or financing the property with another person, please list them on the application as a household member, but only fill out one (1) single application. Application is to be completed by primary applicant, adding information about household members as requested. Primary applicant must work 30+ hours per week in, and in service to, Summit County.

     If an email is not verified , your household will not be included in the list.

    Please note: It is best to use a personal email. Work emails sometimes block the verification not allowing you to complete the form and gain entry into the list

    Priority Requirements:

    • You must work 30+ hours per week on an annual basis within, and in service, to Copper Mountain to qualify for the priority This employment status must be active at the time of application.

    Base Requirements

    • You must work 30+ hours per week on an annual basis within, and in service, to Summit County, CO to qualify for the priorityThis qualification must be met by at least one individual intending to own any deed restricted property. This employment status must be active at the time of application.

    • Income Limit: Gross annual household income is below 110% AMI at 1.5 persons per bedroom size or by actual size of the household, whichever is greater. The max annual gross income at 110% AMI for 3 bedrooms at 1.5 persons per bedroom is $131,670.

    Step 6: Secure a mortgage product with Dana Holland

    Step 7: Start Volunteer Hours, 150 hours per applicant

    • Homeowner Education and Budgeting classes
    • Volunteer for home construction or at ReStore
    • Completing lending paperwork and documentation/s

    Additional Information:

    Income eligible applicants must earn between 70% – 100% AMI.

    Mortgage can not exceed 30% of an applicants monthly income.

    Homeowners are expected to pay a minimum of 1% down (estimated $3,250).

    All homes are deed restricted.
