It has been brought to our attention that there is an error on the State of
Colorado 2010 tax coupon books. The percent for calculating the 5A tax is
incorrectly listed as .012. The correct percentage should be .00125.
The State of Colorado is in the process of correcting this. In the meantime,
manually correct the percentage and remit accordingly. Contact your local
government's finance department or your accountant with any questions.

The $8,000 first-time homebuyer tax credit is still available. Properties
must be under contract by 4/30/2010 and close with 60 days.

all types of housing, from ownership to employee and short-term rental
housing (6 months or less). Tourism also creates a diverse employment
base of non-basic industries: retail, housing, utilities, public transportation,
personal care, health, education, local government, finance, entertainment
and social services. If we cannot provide housing for those that work in these
non-basic industries, it will be difficult, and ultimately perhaps impossible to
sustain our basic industry – tourism.
