Fall is on the way! The days are getting a bit shorter, the nights are getting a bit cooler . . . and it’s time for annual monitoring. You are required to complete the annual monitoring process if you are the owner of one or more deed restricted properties in Summit County. The annual monitoring form can be accessed online, and we anticipate it should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
We understand that you may be currently impacted by the COVID-19 situation. Please fully complete the form based on your current situation, and enter any explanations in the associated text boxes. This will allow us to provide your explanations to the relevant jurisdiction as they’re reviewing this year’s responses. We’re here to help in these challenging times.
Due to the COVID-19 uncertainty, we are also changing our early responder drawing for 2020. Instead of winning a free Interval International vacation week certificate, the winner will receive a $50 Visa gift card. The drawing will be conducted as follows:
Upon completion of the monitoring form, each owner will receive a pdf response form with their system-generated entry number. The Summit Combined Housing Authority (SCHA) will review the submissions for completeness and accuracy, and submissions that are incomplete or inaccurate will not be entered into the drawing. Owners who have outstanding issues under investigation will also not be entered into the drawing. Selection of the winning entry will be conducted via a third-party random number generator. The winning owner will be contacted at the email or phone number provided on their form, and the winning entry number will be posted on the SCHA website. The gift card will be mailed to the mailing address provided on the monitoring form.
Please be sure to get your responses in early so you can be entered into the drawing! The key dates for the 2020 annual monitoring period are:
- 9/1/2020: The annual monitoring period opens.
- 9/22/2020: Complete responses must be received by this date to be entered into the gift card drawing.
- 10/16/2020: The annual monitoring period closes. Any owner who has not submitted their information by this date will be considered a non-responder and referred to the relevant Town or County for follow-up.
Please let us know if you have any questions, and thank you so much!
