The Family Unification Program is a Housing Choice Voucher that is available to families for whom the lack of adequate housing is  a primary factor in the imminent placement of the family’s children in out-of –home care or in delaying the discharge of the children to the family from out-of-home care.

To receive the Family Unification Program (FUP) voucher, public child welfare agencies in the counties of Summit, Park and Clear Creek will present a family to Summit Combined Housing Authority.  Both agencies will determine if the family or youth meets the Family Unification Program.

At this time, there is a limited number of FUP Vouchers for each county.

If you are interested in this program, please contact your local Department of Public Child Welfare to see if you qualify.
